Challenge Blog(s) entry

Boy this is a first for me...........entering a challenge (Magnolia-licious Highlites) and there is three weeks left to enter. Usually I'm down to the wire.

Patti Jo had a fun recipe for us to follow: Hearts, Pink, Silver, White and green if needed for leaves. I used SU white and basic gray cardstock. The DP is by the Paper Studio and a white heart doily by Fox Run Craftsmen. The swirls were made using a Sizzix die and silver metallic cardstock from DCWV. I used a MS loops heart punch on the panel behind Tilda. The roses are from WOC and the open rose sits on a prima flower. A MS punch was used for the branches behind the roses. Tilda was colored with the following Copics: E000, E00, R20, E31, E33, E35, E53, R81, R83, R85, Co, C1, C3, C5. Silver Stickles was added to her hair adornment and the lace on her dress. I just noticed I didn't add the white dots to Tilda cheeks. I will !!

Now I'm going to try to direct link this on the challenge. Last time I tried...I had a mess. Wish me luck and as always thanks for visiting and leaving a comment.

I'm also entering this in:

Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog

When I looked at the living room picture on the Magnolia-licious blog, I saw creams, taupes, yellows, and touches of rust, orange, and pink from the flowers and the doily. The card I made is my interpretation of what I saw.
Tha cardstock is by Stampin Up as is the Flannel Plaid background stamp. Jam Tilda was bought from Diana at the Magnolia-licious store. I do not know the maker of the couch stamp. I stamped off this image from a friend awhile back knowing I would use it one day. Tilda was colored with Copics E000, E00, R20 and Prisma colored pencils. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add shading on Tilda.
Thank you for looking and as always for the wonderful comments I receive.
Hugs from a cold and icy Indiana,
Pam:)
