2 for 1 Holiday Challenge/ I WON !!!!!!!

I made the blue and brown card for another challenge and saw the new challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites. We needed to take a holiday stamp and use it for two different occassions. I made a Christmas and Birthday card with Unwrapped Tilda.

Both images were colored with Copics  and Stampin Up cardstock was used on both cards. For the blue and brown card ingredients, see the post below this one. Basic Grey DP was used on the Christmas card as was Spellbinder circle, Lacey circle, layered Poinsettia dies. I pulled out my Magnolia tag die, seam binding and pearls to finish the card.

I like how both of the cards turned out.

Unwrapped Tilda

I made the flowers so I decided I needed to make a card and practice on my flower arranging. Looking at the card now, I think it would have looked better with two blue flowers and just one brown one. The leaves are made with brown felt.

Unwrapped Tilda was stamped with Memento black ink and colored with Copics on X-Press It Blending Card. SU cardstock was used with The Paper Studio DP. Ovals and flowers was cut with Spellbinder dies. Added satin ribbon,  Robins Nest baubles ( forgot the name) and pearls to the flowers.

I'm entering this in challenge:

All the images were colored with Copics or Prisma color pencils. I used various DPs and cut each page with a Sizzix die.

Autumn Tilda

I need help!!!!!! I'm lousy on arranging flowers on my cards. It takes me soooooo much time to get the flowers on as the rest of the card takes to make. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sunflower Tilda was stamped with Memento ink on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics: skin...E000, E00, E11, chalk blush....hair...E53, E50, E42, E40......dress, bow & socks......G24, G40, BV31, BV34......shoes...C5, C7....sunflower...E49, YR21, YR23, YG13, YG17.

I used Stampin Up cardstock, MME DP, MS and EK Success punches, Nestabilities deckled rectangle and Foliage die, Sizzix star die and Chevron EF (used on the dark panel behind the main image). The sentiment is LOTV.The Rose Creation die from Spellbinders was used to make the bottom brownish flower. I added a MS pearl and the bow was tied with the E-Z Bowmaker. The other flowers are from my stash. The main image and the DPs are all distressed on the edges with Tea Dye distress ink.

Edwin's Pet

I already had this card put together for awhile and hadn't posted yet. Edwin's skin was colored with Copics E00, E000, R20. I used my Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. Cardstock and brad is SU and DP is Basic Grey. Grosgrain ribbon from stash and buckle is from a pop can.

Is that a lizard around Edwin's neck? I think so.........and isn't a lizard a non-domestic animal? I think so.......sooooooooo I'm entering this in a challenge:

Midweek Magnolias         #27   Use a non-domestic animal        09/11/12

Tilda Tag

I thought I'd try my hand at making a tag for a challenge and this is how it turned out. I started out with a manilla tag from my stash.  The eyelet border was punched with a Stampin Up punch and the DP is from a Recollections pad called Garden Floral. The seam binding was dyed with SU ink and Tilda Loves Flowers was stamped with black Memento ink on X-Press It Blending Card (love it).

I colored Tilda with Copics......skin....E000, E00, E11 (chalk for blush).......hair.....W1, E42, E50, E53....dress.......G21, G24........shoes....W1, W3, W5.......flowers......YR21, YR31, BG93, BG96. I added a little sparkle to the bunch of flowers with a Gelly Roll glitter pen.

I made the rose with my Spellbinders Rose Creation die and followed Norma's tutorial (From My Craft Room) using Scattered Straw distress ink. Thank you  Norma!!!! I added a pearl and Diamond Dust.
