Magnolia-licious Challenge

I've had this image colored for a few days but haven't found the time to make a card until this afternoon. Talk about waiting til the last minute. I have not posted for awhile and I had some trouble remembering how to do it.
I used Copics and pencils to color Tilda. Stampin UP cardstock and DCWV dp was used.

Tilda, my friend

I'm entering this card in the Just Magnolia challenge. The black and Cool Caribbean is SU, DP is Olivia by Basic Grey. Tilda was colored with my Copics. The sentiment is from SU's Blossom Abound set. Ribbon and button is from my stash and the ovals and sentiment was cut with Nestabilities.

I would love for Suzanne Dean to come to my area (Indy/Columbus,IN) to teach me how to color. Is there anyone from this area who would like to join us? I've contacted Suzanne and we're trying to work it out.

Thanks for looking at my card and please let me know what you think!

A Prima flower, button and floss was put together over the Hero Arts sentiment that was cut with my Nestabilities. The oval behind Edwin was cut with the Nestabilities too and shaded with ink. The white cardstock was cut with a MS heart punch.
Thanks for looking and any comments make my day!!

The DP is Eskimo Kisses by Basic Grey. Tilda and the wall are Magnolias. They were colored with my Copics. Sentiment is by Inkadinkado. Liquid Applique was used for the fur, glitter pen on the wings and heart and Flower Soft in Polar White for the snow on top and at the bottom of the wall.

Tilda Sittin' on a Strawberry!

I needed a card for a friend's birthday so I thought I would make my first round card. It really looks better in person.
I used Distress Inks for coloring, cut out all the images and used dimensionals to pop them up on a doilly. I added a ribbon and plenty of stickles to the center of the flowers. A MS branch punch and a EK Success flower punch was used too! Tilda, strawberry and flowers were bought from Diana at the Magnolia-licious store. You can find the store link on my sidebar. Thanks for looking!

Tanner's 15th Birthday Card

I needed to make a card for my grandson's birthday. I used the bouncing brayer technique with brilliant blue ink (SU) on glossy cardstock. The image was stamped with black Stazon. Since Tanner's favorite color is yellow.........I had to use summer sun cardstock (SU) for the base. I hope he likes it. I know he'll like what I put inside ($).

Magnolia-licious Birthday Bash Sketch Challenge #5

The sketch this week is about bling! Add it to your cards!! I never feel comfortable adding alot of bling. I have tried during this birthday bash to add more bling. Maybe I'll get over this feeling one of these days. I look at all the cards that are posted and love how the bigger and smaller roses are grouped together. I put them together and it looks like I've just thrown them on the card.

For this card I used: SU cardstock, SU punches for the sentiment and BasicGrey DP, Indian Summer. Green felt flower for the leaves and a crochet flower that I made. Satin ribbon, stickles for the wings and hair bows, nestabilities for the deckled shape behind Tilda, punch (?) for the flower pot and a BG brad for the center of the flower.
Tilda was colored with Copics:
Skin....E000,E00,E93 (blush)
Hair....E25,E33,E42
Boots..E25,E33
Shirt...YR00,YR07,YR09
Shorts.RV02,R39,R85
Watering Can......C0,C1,C3

Thanks for looking and let me know if you have a trick with the bling!

Magnolia-licious Birthday Bash Sketch Challenge #4

This is my first easel card and the first time I've inked this Tilda. I have read all the tutorials on using the Distress Inks, so I tried using them. I don't have the watercolor paper that was mentioned so I used what I had on hand. Not very pleased with the result.
I used SU cardstock and sentiments, K & Co. DP, Distress Ink, glitter, brad, ribbon and flower is from Wild Orchids Crafts.
Tilda was bought fron Diana at the Magnolia-licious Store
Thanks for looking and for all the wonderful comments I receive.

May Challenge Sketch

I made this card for my grand-daughters' birthday using the May challenge sketch. I really struggle trying to add all the "stuff" that I see most everyone else using! I really like all the flowers, ribbon, lace, etc. but I never know where to put it. I sell most of my cards at a local flower shop, so I try to keep them real simple and easy to mail.

I used SU cardstock and ink for the background (around gate), DP is DCWV, flower punch by EK Success, MS branch punches, Stickles , ribbon, Glossy Accents for the shoes and Copics for coloring.
Skin E000,E00, E93
Dress & Socks BG0000, BGooo, BG10
Shoes Gate & Basket E25, E29, E35, E39
Flowers B00, B02, B06
Leaves & Grass YG93, YG95, YG97

Thanks for looking and let me know what you think!
