Autumn Tilda

I need help!!!!!! I'm lousy on arranging flowers on my cards. It takes me soooooo much time to get the flowers on as the rest of the card takes to make. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sunflower Tilda was stamped with Memento ink on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics: skin...E000, E00, E11, chalk blush....hair...E53, E50, E42, E40......dress, bow & socks......G24, G40, BV31, BV34......shoes...C5, C7....sunflower...E49, YR21, YR23, YG13, YG17.

I used Stampin Up cardstock, MME DP, MS and EK Success punches, Nestabilities deckled rectangle and Foliage die, Sizzix star die and Chevron EF (used on the dark panel behind the main image). The sentiment is LOTV.The Rose Creation die from Spellbinders was used to make the bottom brownish flower. I added a MS pearl and the bow was tied with the E-Z Bowmaker. The other flowers are from my stash. The main image and the DPs are all distressed on the edges with Tea Dye distress ink.

I'm entering this in challenges:

Just Magnolia        #174    Use a Star       09/20
Simon Says           So Trendy    Neon, Hexagon, Chevron    09/19
Totally Tilda       #55  Autumn Tilda      09/22
7 Kids  Challenge    1,2,3 (stamp,dp,embellishments)  09/25
Bunny Zoes       #28  Distressing          10/07

Thanks for looking and any suggestions on the flowers,
Hugs........Pam:)

Great card Pam! For my flowers I tend to put them in the corners and build up from there. I try to mix an assortment of different flowers but always find myself back to the same types. I like the use of the big flowers ... maybe try staggering your flowers?

This is sweet, Pam. I love the pretty green you used on Tilda's dress. I also sruggle sometimes with flowers but like Stephanie said, I tend to work from the corners as well. And I like mix different flowers together.

This is really sweet and I love those colors you've used!! For my flowers I usually start with a big one and then proceed to the next size down and so on. I think you've done well tho! Hugs!

What a wonderful card, Pam. Gorgeous autumn colours. I still find this Tilda adorable. She was one of my very first Tildas that I bought. You've coloured her beautifully.
You've already received a few good tips on flower arrangements. I usually find it looks better if you have an odd number of flowers.
Hugs,
Norma

What a beautiful autumnal card Pam, love your colouring of Tilda and your gorgeous design! As for your flowers, they are wonderful!
When I'm choosing where to put flowers, I tend to go for a bottom corner of my image as a starting point with a large flower and then add smaller ones around it, sometimes adding a small one or two in the top diagonal corner.
Thanks for making such a gorgeous creation for Totally Tilda and good luck!

This is so adorable Pam, beautiful autumnal colours and that sweet Tilda is so cute. I always start with the largest flower in a corner and then two or three smaller ones either side the same as Nicola. Hope that helps hon. Thank you for joining us at Totally Tilda with your sweet card. Good luck!
